I would like to say thank you to my friends who stopped by and said hello while I was working at Port Sunlight I had a great day even though it was tiring.  Thank you also for all your birthday wishes and cards they were all gorgeous.  I received 40 Birthday cards in total and each and everyone was so different.

Well onto today's card, sorry I am late in posting but I have been having a bit of a tidy in my craft room putting away my goodies from yesterday.

Recipe & Method

1.  6 x 6 square white card which I have matted brown paper from Prima Botanical Collection.
2.  I added lace to a strip of pink and brown floral paper and added to the side of the card.
3.  I stamped the sentiment which is from Creative Expressions using Adirondak Espresso Ink.  I then cut it out using Spellbinder Scalloped Labels One.  I dusted over the stamp using PanPastel pale pink and dusted the edges with magenta.  I then sprayed over using Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle Pink Iridescent.
4.  To finish off I added a leaf and 3 roses from my stash as well as pearl gems to the topper.

Santa's Little Helper

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Followers

Today is yet another Christmas card using another Stampography Team Santa stamps from Kraftyhands.  I just love these cute images and they always bring a smile to my face.

Today I am helping Mike from Kraftyhands over at the Stamping Show at Hulme Hall Port Sunlight so if you do come to the show don't forget to come and say hello.

The base card is from Kanban.  I have layered patterned paper onto the base and then added a layer of pear green over this and added a red ribbon before matting.  I stamped the image onto Stampography card and coloured with my Copic Pens.  I dusted around the image which has been cut out using Spellbinder Scalloped labels One with PanPastels cream.  I stamped the sentiment using Pear Green Promarker pen and added to the top of the card.  To finish off I have added Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Twinkles to the bottom of the topper which adds texture and dimension.

Ho Ho Ho

Good Evening Crafty Friends and Followers

I hope you are all well and keeping dry as you can in this awful weather we are having at the moment.  I arrived home from Leeds at about 11.00 am this morning and then had to go and do some shopping and pick up a parcel.

I am in the process of getting some samples made the the show at Port Sunlight on Saturday which I will be doing with Mike from Kraftyhands.  I hope if you go that you pop in and say hello as it would be lovely to meet some of my blogland and facebook friends.

The base card is from Kanban and is octagon scalloped shaped.  I have matted a piece of card onto the base.  I cut out red card stock from the Papermania Capsule pack using Spellbinder Hexagon die.  I stamped Santa Claus which is one of the images from Kraftyhands Team Santa CD.  The stamp is from the new Kraftyhands Stampography range.  I coloured Santa using my copics.  I then cut out using the Hexagon Die and layered this onto the red.  Using 3d foam pads I laid this down onto the base of the card.  I stamped Ho Ho Ho from the stamp set using Momento ink pad.  To finish off I have added some snowflake buttons and a gold ribbon with a bell to the top of the card.  I have used Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Twinkles for the snow which Santa is walking on.

Autumn Leaves

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends and Followers

Today I am in Leeds seeing my friends Mike and Ian from Kraftyhands.  My card today is inspired by the song "Autumn Leaves" which has been sung by many artists but my favourite is Barbra Streisand.  I love this artist she is just so very versatile and you can listen to her version here.

2.  First layer is from Paper Crafting Quintessential paper pack.
3.  Second layer is a circular doily which I have coloured in using Promarker in Gold.
4.  The topper is from my stash which is also from Paper Crafting kit.

Fairy Dust

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends and Followers

Well today it is my birthday and I am a year older I wouldn't say wiser but hubby has taken the day off so we are planning to go out so will see you all laters.

Today is also my day for posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society.  I have used Morgan Fitzsimmons Fairy Dust for this and made it all girly ande you can get this lovely digi here.

Recipe & Method

1.  Base card is 2 pieces of pearlescent white card cut out using the largest Grande Spellbinder Circle die.  I attached both pieces together at the top with strong double sided tape and then scored the middle right across to give me an easel card.
2.  Using Spellbinder Decorate circle die I cut out a piece of Kanban card as the base for my topper and attached to the easel card.
3.  I printed Fairy Dust onto Stampography Card and using another of the Spellbinder decorative grande circle dies I inked with Dew Drop Brilliance Orchid around the edges and threaded baby pink fine ribbon through and tied into a bow at the side.  I coloured the Fairy in using my Copic pens.
4.  To finish off I added 3 roses around one side and with the scraps of the card I punched out 2 butterflies using Martha Stewart butterfly punch.  I have added a pearl dragon fly.  The stopper on the base of the easel card is a lily from the same piece of card as the topper base.

Exciting News

Good Evening to all my Crafty Friends and Followers

I am delighted to be able to share with you that I am now on the Elite Design Team for Rick St Dennis MFA.  I received an email yesterday confirming my position and will be in the Glitter Team.

You can purchase  Rick's amazing digi's at his Etsy store here

Sparkle and Glitter Challenge Blog is coming soon and you can visit here

Below is my creation I made using Goth Girl by Rick.  I hope you like her as much as I enjoyed working with her.

I have used an 8 x 8 square Kraft card and made an easel card.  The base of the card is patterned card which I have added lace which has been coloured with Copic Pen to match the colour of the outfit.  I have threaded this through a brown mother of pearl buckle and attached to the card to act as the stopper for the easel.

I printed off Goth Girl onto Rymans card and coloured her with my Copic Pens.  I then cut her out using Spellbinder Label 28 die.  I used Pan Pastels around the image in cream and brown.
The backing card is pale pink pearlescent, the second layer I have used the same brown textured cardstock as the inside.  I then coloured 2 doilies with the same Copic colour as the lace and layered this before adding the topper.  To finish off I added some brown roses and pink Card Candi.

Hello I am Back

Good Evening to all my dear crafty friends and followers

Yes I am back raring to get some crafting done I have loads of ideas and so glad that I took my sketch pad with me to jot down my ideas.  I hope you are all well and not missed me too much?

I would love to say thank you so very much for visiting my blog whilst I was on holiday and leaving some fabulous comments.  I read each and everyone and last night I spent visiting a lot of blogs leaving comments too.

Today my best friend Lesley came and took me out to buy my birthday present which is on Monday and we had a lovely day out.  We arrived back to ours and had a cold drink totally shattered and spent up too.  Got some lovely clothes off Lesley and I treated myself too, Next had a sale on so it would have been rude not to go and see what there is.

Here are a few photographs from our holiday in Turgetreis in Turkey.  We stayed at Kadikale Spa resort and what a fabulous holiday we had.  The weather was lovely and hot blue skies, lovely beaches and lots to eat and drink.  Unfortunately I put on some weight but I will be on a diet again after my Birthday on Monday.

This is a view of the resort from the sea

This is our room

This is the boat we went on to tour around the islands, we went to the Wishing Cave, Camel Beach, and Green Aquarium.  It was a fabulous day out and we had lunch on board and relaxed too.

It was great to swim in the sea Rick took this picture of me while I was in the sea, it was cold but so refreshing too.

This is our last night and our Waiter Tarik took a photo of Rick and I.

One day we went into Turgetreis and I found a Habedashery Shop, oh boy was I in seventh heaven.  I spent a fortune and the next 2 photographs are what I bought.

I bought an assortment of ruffled ribbon, lace and I bought foam roses 100 for £12.50 they are absolutely gorgeous.

This photo shows lace with ribbon threaded through to match the lace.  I also bought beads on a role which you can either glue on or stitch and an assortment of buttons.

Thank you so much for visiting today

Your Art Needs You!!!

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Followers

Well one more day and I will be home.  I hope you have all been keeping well and I know that I will have a lot of catching up to do on your creations whilst I have been away.

Today's card is yet again Steampunk, sorry to those of you who don't like steampunk but I love it but I hope it still inspires you to give it a try.

The base of the card is 8 x 8 Kraft card to which I have layered a piece of gold pearlescent card onto it.  I cut out a piece of white Stampography card and stamped images from Aly's Inky Fingers Time Flies collection and Steampunk collection.  I added a wooden cog from Crafty-Emblies which I have inked with Dew Drops Cosmic Copper.  I have plaited together some raffia and attached to the card.  Using a stippling brush I have stippled Tim Holtz Distress ink antique linen and wild honey.  The corner image has been embossed with WOW powders as has the key.  I have also heat embossed the sentiment.  I have added Card Candi and a padlock to finish the card off.

I look forward to visiting all your blogs on my return.

Wedding Day

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Followers

What is the weather like in your part of the world?  I know that I have visitors from all over the world and wanted to take time to thank you all for visiting my blog and hope you enjoy your visits.  I am hoping that when I get back that I will have got some sketching done but who know.  The architecture in Turkey is fantastic and I am hoping to get some inspiration while on holiday.

Today's card is for no one in particular but I bought these LOTV toppers from the show at Doncaster Dome.  I love LOTV stamps but don't use them as often as I should do.  I have made a wedding card.  See I go from cute to grungy then onto something really feminine too.

I took an A5 scalloped card and added a piece of card that looks like oil on water with the most wonderful colours, unfortunately the photograph doesn't do it justice.  I cut this out using Spellbinder Labels 11 I wrapped white lace around it and tied it into a bow.  Using pink pearlescent card I cut out using Spellbinder Labels 1.  The topper I have inked around the edges using Dew Drops Brilliance Silver.  I added the sentiment and some felt pink hearts.

Thank you for stopping by Today
Take care and have a fabulous day
