Exciting News!!!!

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Followers

I know that a lot of you my lovely crafty friends have been waiting for my news and I can now let you all know. A few weeks ago (at Harrogate) Mike and Ian from Kraftyhands asked me if I would like to work with them as Operations Manager, of course I said YES!!!!

This means that I will be working in Leeds for 3 days a week. I am still responsible for Kraftyhands Challenge Blog and the design team. My other duties will include liaising with magazines, TV and ensure that the shows are booked as well as other general office duties. I will also be designing too and so looking forward to the New Year as I have a few ideas which we will be discussing during the quiet period so more to come from me regarding crafting too.

Last week we were busy collating all the products which will appear on Create and Craft tomorrow at 9.00 am and 11.00 am I hope that you will watch the boys debut on our screens. The design team and I are all showcasing one of our cards which we have made using the New CD Vintage Chic Boutique. I will be travelling down to Peterborough with the boys for support.

I want to thank all of my crafty friends and followers for all your fabulous comments and support since I started my blog.

Fairies

Good Evening Crafty Friends and Followers

Well a good productive day for me today.  I have made 6 cards and a tag, I must say that it was lovely to get back into my craft room and play.

Today's card is all about fairies.  I love them and I have left a butterfly off (wow that is a first for me).
I am off to Leeds again tomorrow so I will be posting tomorrow afternoon with some exciting news (for me anyway)!!!!!

This is an A5 card which I have used Bo Bunny card for the first layer.  The second layer is what I made a few months ago when I was playing with my marbling inks. The silhouette rub on's are from Katy Sue designs.  To complete my card I have added a sentiment some flowers and a swirl.

Say it with Flowers

Good Evening Crafty Friends and Followers

Well hasn't today been a wet and miserable day.  I hope it has been better where you all are.  Today I spent some more quality time with hubby.  We went to see my mum and dad this morning and then took a trip to Preston.

Today's card is a birthday card using Kraftyhands Die Cut from Edwardian Rose Garden Kit.  I have layered the topper onto a green scalloped circular die which I have created a marble effect with silver.  I sprayed the topper with Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle Pink Iridescence.  I attached a pale pink ribbon and a rose which I have tinted the edges with Cardinal Red from my Copis pen.  To finish off I have added some gems.

Good Morning

Morning to all my lovely Crafty Friends and Followers

Well no crafting for me today as off out spending some time with hubby as I have been away in Leeds all week so spending some quality time with Rick.

Today I am showcasing my card for the Kraftyhands Challenge which is charmed.  I am asking you my dear friends if you would help me to get this challenge blog going.  I am sure that many of you have Crafter's Companion or even Kraftyhands products and if not it doesn't matter you can still enter with a chance to get a fab blinkie for your blog.  The challenge closes on Friday at 12 noon so still plenty of time to enter.

Here is the card I made for the challenge.

I would be grateful for any feedback on why no one is entering as your comments would be invaluable.  This challenge blog is my baby as I am blog administrator so it would mean a lot to me if you could let me know what I am doing wrong.

Many thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to reading your suggestions.

Where words fail music speaks

Good Evening Crafty Friends and Followers

Well today I feel a whole lot better than I did a earlier this week.  I have been playing in my craft room today the first since the weekend and I have got 4 DT projects done and finally was able to get out my stamps and inks to play.

I have made a tag tonight using, Pan Pastels in Permanent Red, Diarylide Yellow and Orange for the background,  the stamps are from Dimentional Stamps and I got to play with Fran-tage embossing powders for the first time and OMG I am in love with these.  I have used Shabby Pink and Aged Gold.  Whilst the Gold was still hot I stamped in the word Harmony just to see if it would work and it did.  I can see me playing with these a lot more in the future!!!  I have embossed using WOW embossing powders on the stamps in Burgundy Red and added some ribbon from my stash.

Sorry about the photo but it is dark now and this was the best of the 10 photographs I took.

I would also like to say thank you to all of you for your lovely well wishes they really cheered me up.

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Followers

Mulberry Wood Christmas

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends and Followers

A quick card today which was scheduled as I was going to Leeds.  Unfortunately I haven't gone as I am poorly with Bronchitis so will be staying at home.  I am tucked up in bed amending this post.

Today's card is a Christmas card using Mulberry Wood decoupage collection.  This little racoon is a cutie.  I have been making Christmas cards all year through and have not got many to do now, only the special family ones to do and I am done.  Whew so glad that I have done this as I got in a panic last year as they were all last minute cards.  Anyway less waffling here is my card.

The base card is from the decoupage Mulberry Wood Christmas kit.  I have layered the image up and then sprayed with Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle Pink Iridescent.  I layered this onto a piece of card from my stash and layered onto the base card.  I have weaved some pink iridescent ribbon and layered down one side and added punched mirri card snowflakes.  To finish off I have stamped the sentiment onto a Spellbinder Decorate tag die and inked in Dew Drops Brilliance pearlescent orchid and added a pearls on 2 of the corners and on the embossed snowflakes on the card.

Please stop by tomorrow as I have schedule a post for you all.

Pumpkin Patch

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Followers

I hope you have all had a fabulous weekend, don't you think they are going too quick!  Well I am at home today then off on my travels again tomorrow to Leeds, I will be doing the craft show at Leeds Armoury on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  I hope that I see some of you there.  I am spending most of today scheduling blog posts for while I am away so you can still visit if you have time.

Todays card I have made today is using Heather Valentin's Eleanor and Pickles Pumpkin Patch.  I do love these digi's by the amazing artist Heather.  This card should have been posted on Saturday but I was so busy last week I forgot that it was the 13th on Saturday.  You can purchase this digi here.

The card base is landscape which I have scored 3cm and 6 cm and folded to creat a step.  Along the bottom I have stamped little spiders.  The first layer is from my stash which I have wrapped black and animal print ribbon around and added an earring which is a spider's web with a spider in the centre. I used Darice embossing folder using black shiny card.  I then distressed this and then dusted over using PanPastel.  Don't you think it really emphasises the embossing?  I printed Eleanor and Pickles onto Stampography card and coloured using a mixture of Copics, Sakura Gel and Glitter Pens.  I then cut her out and using PanPastel Orange dusted around the edges.
