Frosty the Snowman

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

All Christmas shopping is now done, just got to wrap all the presents.  I have had a fabulous day shopping and catching up with my mate Lesley.  It was lovely going around the shops very festive, and the Christmas lights were all on too.

Tonight's card is all about Christmas.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 square silver pearlescent card which I have rounded the corners with my X-cut corner punch.
2. First layer is white pearlescent card cut out with Spellbinder Grande Circle die.
3. The doily I have coloured with Copic Grayish Olive and offset. 
4. The topper is from Mulberry Wood I have coloured around the edge with Wink glitter pen and matted and layered with foam pads.
5. I have added 3 snowflakes, 3 silver trees and a sentiment.

Birthday Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  I am off to meet my friend Lesley and we are going to do a bit of Christmas shopping.  Just need to buy that last few presents then I am done, just need to get the wrapping done.

Today I am showing a card I have made using the new Aspire Vintage Bloom Card making set.


 
Recipe
 
1. 6 x 6 square white card.
2. First layer I have wrapped lilac ribbon around then matted and layered onto the base card
3. The frame and sentiment I have coloured with my Copics.
4. I then put the roses behind and adhered to the base card.  I have added a pearl bow.
5. To finish off I have added a stem of pearls and a white rose.

Winter Wonderland

I am off to see my parents today, I hope you are all keeping well and managing to get some crafting done.  The decorating is now all finished and furniture, pictures, mirrors etc are all back in their rightful place. YAY!!!!!

Today's card is made using Imagination Crafts products.



Recipe

1. 7 x 7 cream square card.
2. First layer is silver mirri card, second layer is patterned card from Imagination Crafts.
3. I have wrapped silver ribbon around the 2 layers then adhered to base of card.
4. The topper is black glossy card brayered with Sparkle gel, image is inked with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then cut it out and matted and layered with foam pads.
5. Added a sentiment from my stash, the star is MDF from Imagination Crafts embossed with silver sparkle embossing powder.
6. To finish off I made a bow and added a white dazzler.

A Hoot of a Christmas

I hope you have all had a wonderful day, I have managed to get into my craft room this afternoon and do a bit of crafting.  Tomorrow afternoon I will be making a start on finishing my Christmas cards.  I still have about 50 more to make so need to get my head down and get them done.  How are you doing with your Christmas cards?

Tonight's card is for the challenge over at Mad Crafter's Giggle Facebook group which is birds.  It feels like ages since I took part.

 
Recipe
 
1.  7 x 7 cream square card which I have matted and layered gold and holly patterned red and gold card.
2. I have wrapped Christmas ribbon around before matting and layering onto the base card.
3. I have added a sentiment to the centre of the ribbon.
4. I stamped with image with Versafine and embossed with WOW matt embossing powder, then coloured with Copic's and added Spica glitter pens to the hats and berries.
5. To finish off I have added green gem stones to the corners.

Crocus

Well everything is all back in its rightful place and I am happy.  I can now concentrate on finishing my Christmas cards which will take me until next weekend and then it is playtime for me!

Today's card is all about Spring, which for me personally can't come soon enough!  I hate the cold and even though it is a good excuse to stay in and craft I am not a lover of winter at all!  How about you?


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 white square card
2. The first 2 layers are from my stash which I have wrapped gold ribbon around and matted and layered onto the base card.
3. The topper is patterned card from Imagination Crafts which I have painted over with Crackle Medium and then cream paint.
4. I stamped the images with Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I have painted the flowers and leaves with Mica Powder, it sure does shimmer but the photograph hasn't captured it very well.
5. To finish off I have added a bow and a pearl dragonfly to the centre of the bow.

Fushia

How are we all doing today?  I am aching a bit but just glad to see the decorating stuff put away.  Spending the day giving the windows and house a thorough clean as it has been a mess far to long for my liking.  All nice and new for Christmas.  I can't believe that it will be December on Sunday, where has this year gone?

This plaque is made using Imagination Crafts Products.



Recipe

1. 6 x 6 MDF Plaque painted with MDF Jet Paint, Crackle Medium and Cream MDF Paint.
2. Stamped the whole of the plaque with Versamark and then dusted Mica Powder over then I set with cheap Hairspray.
3. I stamped the image, sentiment and foliage with Versafine Black ink and embossed with WOW Embossing Powder.

Autumn Bird House

Well I have had a lovely weekend and met such lovely crafters.  I have made lots of new friends and it was lovely to see Sue, Harvey, Jean and Bob again.  We went to see That'll be the Day on Friday night which was fabulous.

Today's card is one of my samples I made for the weekend. 

 
Recipe
 
1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered brown pearlescent card onto.
2. The topper is patterned card from Imagination Crafts which I have painted with Crackle medium and then cream acrylic paint.  I then stamped the image and foliage with Versamark and dusted over with Bronze Mica Powder.
3. I have wrapped twine around the bottom and added 3 leaves and a feather.

Elisabeth Bell GDT Challenge Post

Happy Monday to you all!  I hope you have all had a wonderful day so far.  Today is the 25th of the month and that means it is time for another challenge over at Elisabeth Bells World Challenge Blog.  The theme for this month is Monochromatic. I have used this cute image from Elphine House which I won last year.  I just love her and have made a door hanger.



Recipe

1. MDF door hanger which I have painted with Purple acrylic paint
2. Using Core'dination So Mod card I have cut out using Spellbinder Labels Twenty Five in purple card.
3. I stamped the image and coloured with my Copics then cut out with Spellbinder Labels Twenty Five. I then distressed with PanPastels Violet.
4. Using cream pearl trim (AnneMarie Designs) I decorated around the opening.
5.  To finish off I have added 3 roses and a bow.

Dragonfly Dancing

Here is a quick card using the Dragonfly Decoupage stamp from Imagination Crafts.


Recipe

1. Labels 1 shaped pink square card.
2. White pearlescent card cut with Spellbinder Label 1 die with pink organza ribbon wrapped around.
3. Stamped image onto white card with Versamark and dusted with pink Mica Powder. I decoupaged the dragonflies and added pink pearl gems down the bodies.
4. I have added a sentiment and a bow.

Scribble and Scrap Challenge 6

The last challenge of November begins over at Scribble and Scrap and as always the theme is "Anything Goes".  It sure is getting to be a popular challenge and thank you to everyone who enters.

I have made an anniversary card using the Owl Card Kit 2 from Scribble and Scrap website.  Please check out the website as Lexie is always adding new items. 


Recipe

1. White 6 x 6 square card which I have matted and layered purple pearlescent card at an angle.
2. Using my Graphics programme I have matted and layered the papers and the topper then sprayed with Spray and Sparkle Iridescent spray.
3. I printed out extra toppers and decoupage the owls.
4. I made a small spray of flowers for the corner.
4. To finish off I have added a sentiment, pearl heart and gems.

Daisy and Snowdrop

As you know I am away this weekend demonstrating at BJ Crafts.  Today is the first day so fingers crossed everything goes well.  Looking forward to meeting some new crafters as well as some of my crafting buddies. I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend.

Today's cards are made using Imagination Crafts products.


Recipe

1. 6 x 6 gold pearlescent square card - Anne Marie Designs
2. First layer is cream pearlescent card
3. Red glossy card which I have stamped the Daisy Decoupage Stamp with Versamark and dusted with gold mica powder, I have wrapped cream ribbon around both layered and matted and layered onto the base card.
4. To finish off I have added gold pearl gems, sentiment and a cream flower to the centre of the bow.


Recipe

1. 6 x 6 White scalloped square card.
2. 1st layer is white card which I have stamped with small snowdrops and swirls with Versamark and added purple mica powders.
3. On a piece of white card I have inked with Versamark and dusted Mica Powder all over, I then inked my stamp with ink and stamped the image, I then decoupaged the small snowdrop.
4. To finish off I have added a sentiment, purple pearl gems and white pearl gems.

Let's Build a Snowman!

Well I am all packed up ready for the off tomorrow.  Getting a little bit excited now and looking forward to the weekend.  I hope you have all had a fabulous day and that you managed to get some crafting done.

I have another Christmas card for you today.  Next week I will be finishing off the decorating and getting the house back to normal.  Then I will be knuckling down and finishing off my Christmas cards as December is going to be lots of crafting for me!  Soooooooo looking forward to that!


Recipe

1. 6 x 6 white square card which I have matted and layered lilac card with ribbon wrapped around.
2. Snowflake card has been distressed with Milled Lavender
3. I have matted and layered the topper onto lilac card and added glitter to the snowy ground and the snowman and dots of glitter to resemble snow.
4. I have added 2 snowflakes to the top corners with white pearl gems in the centres, the sentiment reads "Happy Christmas" and has 2 white gems.

To a Friend

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Where has this week gone?  Thursday already!  I hope you are all keeping well and managing to get some crafting done.  I have had a busy week so far and today will be packing my bags ready for my trip to Kings Lynn tomorrow. 

Hubby is going to be undercoating all the walls and ceilings that have been plastered.  His son is going to be helping him, so I am glad I will be out the way.  Really fed up now with everything not being in their rightful place.  Once I get home I will be getting the kitchen and dining room sorted and then the lounge.  I HATE disorganisation it drives me mad!

Here is my card for today, again using Imagination Crafts products.


Recipe

1. 15 x 15 cm MDF painted with MDF Jet paint.
2. I inked all the MDF with Versamark and dusted with Mica Powder
3. Stamped the leaves, tulips, and sentiment around the edges and then stamped the image with Versamark.  I then sprayed with hairspray.
4. I added a calendar to the bottom, punched two holes and threaded cord and twine for the hanger.

Shush Santa's Here!

Brrrrrr it sure is cold here today.  A busy morning and an even busier afternoon here too.  All samples and demo's are all done and dusted.  Just need to pack my bag for the weekend.

Recipe

1. White scalloped edged 6 x 6 square card.
2. Cream and gold card cut out with Spellbinder Label 1 die which I have wrapped ribbon around.
3. Red card cut out with Spellbinder Scalloped Circle die.
4. The topper I have distressed the edges with Crushed Olive and added glitter to Santa' coat, hat and beard.
5. To finish off I have added a sentiment, bow and red gems.

My card today is made using the Freesia stamp again, from Imagination Crafts, a Thank you card in my favourite colours.


Recipe

1. Silver pearlescent card which I have matted and layered purple glitter card.
2. Second layer is purple glossy card from Imagination Crafts
3. The topper is the freesia decoupage stamp on black glossy card. I used Versamark and dusted purple Mica Powder over the image then cut out and matted and layered with foam pads
4. To finish off I have added the sentiment and 3 flowers.

Freesia

Here is my card for today I have used the Freesia Decoupage Stamp set from Imagination Crafts. I just love Freesia and I had it in my wedding bouquet.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 silver pearlescent card (Annemarie Designs)
2. Pewter mirri card was used for first layer
3. Using Glossy black card I have stamped the leaves, flowers and sentiment with Versamark and dusted with the Mica Powders.  To set I have sprayed with cheap hairspray.
4. The topper I have stamped onto glossy black carc and again dusted with mica powders and matted and layered with foam pads to give dimension.
5. To finish off I have added a white bow with 2 stick pins.

Pink Christmas

A Christmas card to share with you all today.  I can't believe how close we are to Christmas and I need to get my cards finished off and presents bought and wrapped.  Starting to get a bit worried about finishing these Christmas cards off.

3. I have tied a bow and added 3 poinsettias down the side (these are from Crafts 4 u 2 do)
4. The sentiment is from my stash.

Tea Party

A quick post this morning as I have a busy day today and a few errands to run too.  If you go out take it easy and take a brolly as it is piddling down here today.

Here is my card for you today.


Recipe

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped card.
2. Black Satin Card from Imagination Crafts with white and black patterned ribbon wrapped around before layering onto the base card.
3. A white circular doily layered over the first layer and then I added the topper which is from Scribble and Scrap which shows little girls having a tea party.
4. I have made a bow and added white roses to two corners.
5. To finish off I have added clear gems.

Hello

I  had such a busy day yesterday and Rick has painted all the skirting boards in the dining room and kitchen ready for me to paint in a couple of weeks.  No time next week as I am off to Kings Lynn on Friday for the demonstration weekend at BJ Crafts.

Today's card is made using one of Kim Costello's new stamps, I think she is lovely and such a dream to colour.


Recipe

1. Shaped A5 white card from Hunkydory.
2. Spellbinder Curved Rectangle Die used to cut out the Core'dinations card for first layer
3. I stamped the image onto Supersmooth, coloured with my Copics and then cut out with Spellbinder Curved Rectangle die and dusted over with PanPastel, pale blue.
4. Using yellow card I cut out the two Tonic flourishes and added blue gems to the swirls.
5. I have added a yellow double bow and a gold butterfly.

First GDT Post for Digi Bells

Today is my first post as GDT for Digi Bells DT Blog, I am delighted to be part of this very talented group of ladies for the next 3 months.
My card today features the beautiful Fairy Merrily from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection. I just adore this cute little fairy and made a girly card which I know my granddaughter will love.
Here is my card:

Recipe

1. 7 x 7 pearlescent Silver card.
2. First layer is patterned card from my stash cut out with Spellbinder Grande Labels 1.
3. I added a white doily at an angle so the points were facing N, S, E and W.
4. I printed the fairy onto white supersmooth card and cut out with Spellbinder Grande Labels 1 Die.  I then coloured with my Copic pens, added glitter to her wings then distressed around the image with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet.
5. I made a butterfly using parchment and added pink gems to the centre.
6. To finish off I have added roses and leaves, made a bow added stick pins and a rose gem.  The sentiment reads "You are So Special".

Fairy Secrets

How has your day been?  I have quite a busy day not as much as I have wanted to do but got a few projects started and a couple finished.  It sure is chilly today I hope you are all well and keeping warm.

I had a play with my new Lavinia stamps and here is my card.


Recipe

1. 6 x 6 white square card with embossed dots which I have distressed with PanPastel Phthalo Green
2. The first layer is made using my Gelli plate at one of my crafting sessions with Kath, I have distressed over the texture with PanPastel Bright Yellow Green Tint. inked the edges with Gold Pen and tied a ribbon around the top corner.
3. To make the topper I have distressed the card with DI Brushed Corduroy and Crushed Olive, I stamped the image with Versafine and embossed with WOW clear embossing powder.  I stamped the ivy with Crushed Olive and then with Black Versafine.  I used my white pen and added white highlights.
4. To finish off I have added 2 red leaf buttons.

Imagination Crafts Inspiration Post

Today is the day the Design Team show their inspiration projects for our current challenge which is "Glitter and Sparkle".  Please check out the challenge blog as the ladies have made some amazing projects for the challenge.

Here is my inspiration piece, all products I have used can be found on the Imagination Crafts website. I am so pleased how the photograph has picked up the glitter and sparkle.


Recipe

1. MDF 6 x 6 plaque painted with Lime Stone MDF Paint
2. Brayered Diamond Sparkle over the plaque.
3. Onto the Acetate I have stencilled with a mixture of Gold, Purple and Turquoise Sparkle Medium using the Wild Flowers Mask.
4. I used my Cropadile to punch 2 holes and added gold and cream cord.
5. Added lace to the bottom of the calendar and then adhered this to the acetate which I have wrapped around and adhered to the back.  I then covered the back with patterned card.

Butterfly Trails

Well I had a lovely time with Kath today, we went shopping, I bought some new sundries for my lounge once it has been decorated and I am now eager to get sorted.  Hubby is going to decorate the lounge while I am away next weekend in Kings Lynn at BJ Crafts Demo weekend.

Tonight's card is again for the One Word Challenge on Mad Crafters Giggle Facebook Group.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 cream hammered card from Anne Marie Designs
2. First layer is blue pearlescent card which I have matted and layered onto the base of the card.
3. Second layer is Core'dinations So Mod card which I have embossed with Embossalicious Regal Corner.
4. The butterfly stamp is from Imagination Crafts, I have stamped with Versamark and embossed with WOW Embossing Powder Blue Blast, I have coloured with Copics and decoupaged the butterfly wings.
5. To finish off I have added a corner die from Tonic, punched butterfly with Martha Stewart punch, added a sentiment and blue pearl gems to both butterflies and the swirls on the card.
