Easter Bunny

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Family

I hope you are all well and had a good day.  A busy day here finding homes for my crafty stash and a massive short out of cards I have made.  I have sorted them into two piles, one for selling and the other for charity.

I have made my first Easter Card.  I do love this bunny topper.


Recipe

1. Circle scalloped white card which I have matted and layered blue pearlescent card cut out with Spellbinder Scalloped die.
2 I then matted and layered yellow, silver and blue card cut out with Spellbinder circle and scalloped circle die.
3. I have added glitter around the topper and adhered to card with foam pads.
4. I cut out the filigree with Tonic die using cream card. and the snowdrops are from Tattered Lace using white card and coloured the little drops with yellow Spica pen.
5. To finish off I wrote Happy Easter with Gold Spica pen and added a lace bow with a gem for the centre.

Wedding Dreams

I have had a brilliant weekend! Saturday at the Happy Stampers and yesterday workshop with Sheena Douglass.  Looking forward to this coming weekend as will have a weekend at home and looking forward to spending some quality time with hubby.

Today's card is a wedding card I have made, I do love the cute birds on the topper.


Recipe

1. A5 white scalloped card which I have matted and layered the roses backing paper.
2. The bells are Tattered Lace and been cut out using silver mirri card.
3. I cut out an oval with green card and cut the topper with the oval die too.
4. I coloured the roses with Spectrum Noirs and matted and layered with foam pads.
5. To finish off I added heart gems and the sentiment.

Happy Mother's Day

I would like to wish all my crafting friends "Happy Mother's Day" I hope you all have a wonderful day. I am off to a Workshop held by Sheena Douglass, in Port Sunlight.  I am really looking forward to this as no doubt there will be lots to learn and full of fun and laughter too. It also happens to be my youngest son Veli's birthday today too he will be 30, gosh where have the years gone.  Happy Birthday son xxx

Here is a card to all mum's out there, especially to my own Mum!


Recipe

1. Shaped A5 landscape card.
2. The first layer is brown pearlescent cut out with Spellbinder Labels 11
3. The second layer is LOTV Country Lady cut out with Spellbinder Labels 11 I have wrapped lace around the two layers and matted and layered onto the card base.
4. I have distressed the topper with PanPastel and adhered to card with Foam Pads.
5. To finish off I have added stick pins and roses from my stash and the Mother's Day Sentiment.

Thistle

Fingers crossed this has gone live as I am away at the Happy Stampers, Port Sunlight for the one day show. Looking forward to seeing my crafting friends.  If you are going please pop by and say hi!

For today's card I have used Imagination Crafts Sparkle Medium, Thistle Stencil and Gradient Card.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 cream square card which I have turned into an easel card.
2. On the inside of the card I have matted and layered blue and gold card, added a sentiment and a bow with a button to act as the stopper.
3. Onto the gradient card I stencilled the thistle with Sparkle Medium Sage Green, Lavender, Soft Purple and Black Stars. once dried I cut the corners with x-cut punch.
4. To finish off I matted and layered onto gold card.

Three Trees

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Friday has come around so quickly and I am off again this afternoon until Saturday night.  I am off to help Sue and Harvey set up this afternoon for the one day Happy Stamper show at Port Sunlight.  Not far to travel about 50 minutes away from where I live.

Today's card is made using Imagination Crafts Stencil, Sparkle Medium and Glossy card.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 cream square card which I have cut out the corners.
2. The first and second layers are pearlescent tan and brown pearlescent card which have also had the corners punched out.
3. Onto the black glossy card I have stencilled the 3 trees with Sparkle Medium Cinnamon and Light Copper.
4. I punched out orange flowers from my punch and added the jewelled owl to one of the branches.
5. To finish off I have added the sentiment.

Caterpillar to Butterfly

I have had a rather busy but successful crafting day today.  I got everything I needed to do done and even got some admin work done too!

Tonight's card I made for today's one word challenge over on Facebook, the word being Butterfly.  This will be my last crafting day now until next week so I got the inks, silks and stamps out to play.  Purple had to come into play too!


Recipe

1. White A5 landscape card which I have matted and layered purple pearlescent card.
2. Using the reverse side of Centura Pearl I stamped the corner's which are from Sheena Douglass' A little bit Magical stamps with Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.
3. I stamped the Sentiment from Sheena's A little bit Sketchy True Colours stamp set with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then distressed with Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac. I wrapped white and silver ribbon around and matted and layered onto the purple card.
4. Onto Supersmooth card I stamped the butterfly from A little Bit Sketchy True Colours with Versamark and embosssed with White Embossing powder, I coloured the butterfly with Silks and coloured the body with Spectrum Noir IG6.
5. To finish off I added lilac pearls to the ribbon, purple gem to the double white bow and 2 pearl butterflies to the body of the card.

With Love Tattered Lace

I hope you are all keeping well, my cold is gradually going which I am pleased to say, another day and I should be back to good health.

Whilst I was at the NEC I treated myself to some new Tattered Lace dies.  I have used quite a few on my card.


Recipe

1. Embossed scalloped white square card.
2. I adhered the topper to the base of the card with Lilac Tint around the image and added glitter to the wings.
3. I cut out the Victoria Square from Tattered Lace using Lilac card and adhered over the topper.
4. I brayered Diamond Sparkle Medium onto Yellow card and cut out the flowers and cut out the leaves.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment to the centre of the flower and two of the corners.

GDT Digi Bells

Today I would like to share with you another of my cards for Digi Bells!  I have used Little Best Friends by the very talented Elisabeth Bell.  Why not visit the website to see some of the beautiful digi images you could add to your collection!


Recipe

1. A5 scalloped white card which I have matted and layered paper from the Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue paper pack.
2. The second layer is pale blue card cut out with Spellbinder Curved Rectangle die, I distressed the edges with Dew Drops Brilliance blue ink.
3. I printed the image onto Supersmooth card and coloured with Copics. I then cut out with above die and distressed the edges with Dew Drops Brilliance in Gold, then matted and layered with foam pads.
4. The word Beach is from the paper pack, I have then added a fish button and a shell which I have added a bow with Baker's Twine.
5. To finish off I added pearl gems to the 4 corners.

I had a good productive day yesterday even with a runny nose! Hoping to have the same again today.  Lots to do and lots of ideas whizzing around in my head.

Today's card I made yesterday for the One Word Wonder on Facebook Mad Crafter's Giggle group.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 cream square card from AnnaMarie Designs which I have punched the corners.
2. Matted and layered black and silver mirri card again punching the four corners.
3. The topper is background card from Lavinia Stamps which I have stencils thistles with Sparkle Medium Sage Green, once this was dry I stamped the fairies and unicorn with Versafine and embossed with embossing powder.  I then stamped the word believe with Versafine Spanish Moss and embossed with WOW green embossing powder.

Elisabeth Bells World Challenge for March

Well it is that time of the month for a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's blog challenge.  This month we want to see "Pretty Pastels".

I have used Lilypad Dreams from Belles n Whistles


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 square card which I have matted and layered pale green pearlescent paper and LOTV Country Lady paper, I wrapped lace around the bottom before adhering to the base card.
2. I cut out pale green pearlescent paper using Spellbinder Decagon die.
3. I stamped the image with Versafine Smokey Gray and coloured with my Copics, I added glitter to her wings.
4. I added a white feather, bow and white dazzle to one side of the image.
5. To finish off I added pale pink roses with two stick pins.

Mum, you're the Greatest...

A miserable day here, raining and so dull, I want the sun back!  I have a cold and a sore nose from blowing it all the time, that isn't going to stop me from crafting though!

Today's card is made using an Elisabeth Bell topper from Hobby House.  I have quite a bit to do today and ideas buzzing in my head.


Recipe

1. A5 white Landscape card which I have punched the corners with X-cut corner punch
2. First layer is silver and gold mirri card 
3. The second layer is green scalloped card which I have wrapped lace around before matting and layering onto the mirri card.
4. I have inked the edges with Dew Drops Brilliance ink in gold then matted and layered with foam pads for dimension.
5. To finish off I have added 2 roses from Sweet Lilac, sentiment and pearls from my stash.

I had a blast at the NEC!

Oh what a busy day I have had today, errands to run this morning and then finding homes for all my crafting goodies I bought at the NEC.

As you all know I blog everyday and I haven't been very happy with some of my photographs, well at the show I treated myself to a Photomate from one of the stands, you can check them out on their website www.photomate.info

Below is a photograph of some of my demonstration pieces using Imagination Crafts Products, I demonstrated our Metallic range of Sparkle Medium and stencils.


This is the photo booth, I am really pleased with how my demonstrations look!


This is my card stock I bought from Limetree and AnnaMaries


As you can see I treated myself to some lovely lace, stamps, new moulds, Colour Spritzer, punches, inks and essentials


Finally I got some Jute bags, Tattered Lace Dies, Lavinia DVD I have been after for a while and this beautiful musical box and clefts from the MDF Man

Humming Bird

Thank you to all of my crafty friends who stopped by the Imagination Crafts stand to say hello.  I had a fabulous 4 days, but was very tired come the end of the show.  I finally got to meet some of my blogging and Facebook friends who I have been communicating with for a couple of years and it was brilliant

Recipe

1. A6 scalloped white card which I have distressed with Adirondack Peach Bellini.
2. The first layer is brown card which I have punched the corners with X-cut corner punch.
3. The image was stamped onto Supersmooth card with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed with clear embossing powder.
4.I added the ticket from Tim Holtz and brown pearl gems to 3 of the corners.

Wishing Well

Well today is the last day and I have had such a good time, very tired but such fun! I have seen lots of lovely new products and bought some lovely crafty goodies which included the essentials as well as some more MDF.  I will photograph what I have bought when I get home.

Today's card is again using Imagination Crafts Products.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 off white square card which I have matted and layered rainbow card.
2. The second layer is gold embossed card.
3. Onto acetate I stencilled the blossom with Sage Green Sparkle Medium
4. Onto gradient card I have stencilled the "Wishing Well" with Cinnamon and Sage Green Sparkle Medium.
5. I wrapped the acetate around the topper card and adhered to the gold card which has bowed the acetate.
6. To finish off I have added multicolour gems to the 4 corners and a sentiment.

Lacy Swirl

Recipe

1. 7 x 7 off white square card which I have matted and layered pale blue pearlescent card.
2. The second layer is silver mirri card
3. Onto the green glossy card I have stencilled the "Lacy Swirl" using Periwinkle, Soft Pink and Soft Purple then matted and layered onto the mirri card.
4. I wrapped blue ribbon around then made a double bow.
5. To finish off I have added a sentiment and 2 blue dazzlers.

Windy Tree

Recipe

1. 7 x 7 white sqaure card, which I have matted and layered green pearlescent card.
2. The second layer is white and green patterned card.
3. I stencilled the "Windy Tree" onto black glossy card with Sage Green and Diamond Sparkle Medium.
4. Using white pearlescent card I punched out the small blossoms and added them with Magi Bond.
5. To finish off I have added pearl gems from Mei Flower and added a sentiment.

Butterfly Sparkle

First day of the NEC craft show today and looking forward to seeing my crafting friends.  We are on stand A32 and  I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Today's card is made using Imagination Crafts Products.


Recipe

1. Label's one shaped card which I have matted and layered pink card cut out with Spellbinder Labels 1.
2. The second layer is white pearlescent card cut out with above die.
3. The third layer is gradient pink card which I have brayered Diamond Sparkle Medium and cut with above die.
4. I stencilled the "butterfly with love" onto gradient card and cut around the butterfly then adhered to the pink card.
5. I then stencilled the butterfly with Antique Rose Sparkle Medium onto acetate then cut out and decoupaged over the gradient butterfly.
6. To finish off I have added pink pearl gems from Mei Flower, double white satin bow and sentiment.

Bird of a Feather

Well those 2 days sure went quick but managed to get all that I needed to do done.  As you all know I am off to the NEC for the 4 day crafting show.

Today's card is made using Imagination Crafts Sparkle Medium, Trellis Stencil, Sweet Lilac Flowers and the Humming bird is from IndigoBlu.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered purple embossed card.
2. The second layer is gold mirri card.
3. Onto gradient card I have stencilled the trellis with Royal Purple Sparkle Medium
4. I stamped the bird onto Supersmooth and coloured with Silks Acrylic Paint
5. I added beaded stickpins and flowers from Sweet Lilac down one side and to finish off added the sentiment.

Yellow Roses

How are you all this morning. I had rather a busy day yesterday, washing and ironing from my weekend away and all ready for this long weekend at the NEC.

Today's card is made using Clarity Rose stamp and sentiment.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered yellow pearlescent card.
2. Onto the reverse of Centura pearl card I have stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I then distressed with Bundle Sage.
3. I stamped the roses 6 times with Versamark and embossed then using DI Squeezed Lemonade. I then restamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia and heat embossed. I then decoupaged the centre rose.
4. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine and embossed with green embossing powder then cut out the label.
5. To finish off I added the pearl gems on the 4 corners.

Ella Bella

Happy Monday to you all, home for a couple of days then off to the NEC on Wednesday.  I had a fabulous time this weekend meeting lots of my Facebook and Blogging friends, it was lovely of you all to stop by and say hello.

Today's card is made using IndigoBlu's Ella Bella stamp.


Recipe

1. Cream A5 card which I have matted and layered embossed gold mirri card.
2. The next layer is cream card which I have embossed with edges with WOW gold embossing powder.
3. The topper is made using white card cut out with Spellbinder die Branching out, I stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with embossing powder, I then distressed around the image with Adirondack Peach Bellini then matted and layered with foam pads
4. The leaves are from my stash distressed with DI Bundled Sage and the flowers are inked with Dew Drops Brilliance Gold, I added gems to the centres of the flowers.
5. To finish off I added the birthday sentiment.

Garden Seat

Recipe

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered gold embossed card.
2. The second layer is purple card.
3.  Using the patterned card I have stencilled the Garden Seat with Dark Amber and Sage Green Sparkle Medium, once dried I punched out the corners with a butterfly punch.
4. To finish off I added a vellum butterfly with green pearls down the body and a sentiment.

Inspiration Post for Imagination Crafts March Challenge

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

It is that time of the month for the design team of Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog to show their inspiration projects.  I am away at the Harrogate show so fingers crossed this has gone live.  Don't forget there is a £40 prize to one lucky winner who uses Imagination Crafts products.

I requested the Hanging Basket decoupage stamp set for this challenge. All products on this card are from Imagination Crafts, apart from the embellishments.


Recipe

1. A4 Pearlescent card cut and scored to create a centre stepper card.
2. Using the small flower stamp I stamped with Versafine Smoky Gray twice down both side panels and embossed then coloured with Copics.
3. Using matt gold pearlescent card and layered this onto the centre of the card.
4. On the Gradient card I stencilled the trellis with Royal Purple Sparkle Medium.
5. I stamped the hanging baskets twice with Versafine Smoky Gray embossed and then cut out, coloured with Copics and attached to the gradient card with gold brads.
6. To finish off I have added small blossoms to the trellis and either side of the card.

First DT post for Sweet Lilac

It is time for a new challenge over at Sweet Lilac and the theme this month is Spring.  Today I am sharing my first post as design team member for Sweet Lilac.  

On my travels around blog land I came across this Bendy Fold Card Tutorial by Emma Fewkes.  I added a twist to mine by adding the decorative circle.

Recipe

1. I followed the tutorial using Centura Pealescent card, the reverse of the card and cut out the 3 pieces.
2. I used a stencil for the large back piece with PanPastels and dusted the two smaller pieces.
3. On the 2 small piece using Adirondack Lettuce I created the hills and stamped the leaves with Black and Lettuce first, second and third generation.
4. I cut out the Decorative Circle using Centura Pearlescent card and distressed the reverse with Broken China Distress Ink.  I stamped the trailing leaves with Adirondack Lettuce first and second generation.
5. I stamped the fairy onto Supersmooth with Onyx black Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.
6. The flowers are from Sweet Lilac and the butterflies are from my stash.

Fairy Stars

A quick post this morning as shortly I will be leaving to travel to Harrogate to help Sue and Harvey set up for the weekend.  The Harrogate Crafting show is on and I will be demonstrating.  So looking forward to seeing my crafting friends, if you are going please pop by and say hello.

For today's card I have used stamps by the talented Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stamps.


Recipe

1. 7 x 7 square white card which I have matted and layered silver star holographic card onto the base.
2. The topper I have created the background with DI spun sugar and then stamped the fairy with Versafine Smoky Gray and embossed with clear embossing powder. The stars were stamped with Versamark and embossed with WOW pink embossing powder.  I stamped the cherry blossom stamp using DI Picked Raspberry first and second generation and glittered the blossoms. The foilage at the bottom has been stamped with DI Bundle Sage first, second and third generation.
3. I then matted and layered this onto deep pink card.
4. To finish off I have added lace to the bottom with pink star gems and a sentiment.
