Luna

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How has your weekend been? I have had a busy one getting everything sorted for while I am away.

This afternoons card I made using the Freebie from Polkadoodles on the Kit and Clowder Facebook Group for the Luna colouring competition.


Step by Step

1. A5 tent white card.
2. Two layers cut out with Spellbinder Curved Rectangle die in Orange and Green, embossed with Embossalicious Flower and Floral folders.
3. I printed Luna onto Supersmooth card and coloured with Copics then cut out with Spellbinder Curved Rectangle die.
4. To finish off I added two pearl butterflies, a double bow with purple ribbon and a dazzler in the centre

Dancing Fairies

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

On Friday I won the One Word Challenge over on Mad Crafter's Giggle so I set the challenge for this weekend.

The word I chose was Fairy/Fairies and it runs until 9 pm tonight.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square white pearlescent card which I have matted and layered dark pink card with pink lace across the bottom at an angle.
2. The second layer is pale pink which has also been matted and layered at an angle.
3. The topper background I created using shaving foam and Inkadinks, I stamped the Lavinia fairies with Crimson Red Versafine and embossed. The ivy leaves have been stamped 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation with Versafine Spanish Moss.
4. To finish off I added Tattered Lace Bunting down the side and added 3 lavish blooms with flower gem centres.

Birthday Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

What are you up to today? 

I am getting the cases down from the loft and sorting out our clothes for our holiday.

Sorry guys, I know going on again about my holiday!

Here is today's card.


Step by Step

1. Gold pearlescent 6 x 6 card.
2. The topper was a card which I cut in half, I then cut half of the card diagonally and adhered to the base card at two opposite corners.
3. I matted and layered the topper onto gold embossed card which I have attached cream lace along the bottom.
4. The image I raised with foam pads and enhanced the glitter on the topper.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and 3 Sweet Lilac flowers which I inked with Dew Drops Brilliance Orchid ink with gold pearl gems to the centres.

Sew its your Birthday!

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A quick post this afternoon, I am sharing my One Word Wonder card for our daily challenge over on Mad Crafter's Giggle Facebook group.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 cream square card which I have matted and layered taupe card.
2. I then used scraps from by bit box with a sewing theme for my next layer.
3. Across the join I added a piece of tape measure ribbon.
4. I stamped the dress stand, scissors and sentiment with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed. I then distressed the background with DI Antique Linen and Bundled Sage, then matted and layered onto taupe card.
5. To finish off I added 6 wooden butons and 6 cream with ribbon faux bows to the 4 corners and added a sewing machine charm with Baker's Twine bow.

Yellow Roses

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Whew where has this week gone?

Only 4 more sleeps until I go on holiday, I am soooo looking forward to going away with hubby.

Yesterday was a busy day getting windows cleaned as well as giving the house a thorough clean before mum comes on Monday as she is looking after my kitties while I am away.

Anyway here is my card for Today


Here is a close up of the embossed roses



Step by Step

1. A5 cream card with corners punched with X-cut.
2. First layer is gold pearlescent card.
3. Second layer is gold mirri card.
4. I used Tattered Lace Interchangeable Embossing Folder Roses and embossed parchment, I then embossed the back of the roses and wrote over the Happy Birthday with gold Spica pen. I then attached to yellow card with brads.
5. To finish off I added a metal leaf and 3 yellow paper roses and sequined yellow ribbon across the bottom.

The Majestic Oak

I had a lovely day crafting with my good friend yesterday.  Unfortunately I was doing DT work and can't show you until September.

Today's card is made using Sheena Douglass' A Little Bit Sketchy The Majestic Oak


Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 square white card
2. Matted and layered bronze pearlescent and brown card.
3. The topper is made using Inkadinks with mica powders and cling film wrapped over crumpled and left to dry.
4. I stamped the oak and sentiment with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed with clear embossing powder.
5. To finish off I wrapped Baker's Twine around twice and tied in a knot and card candy to two corners.

Elegance!

Last visit to Kath's today until we both return off our holidays.

Today's card was created using MCS 6th Anniversary CD, Elegant Ladies Design 6


Step by Step

1. DL white card.
2. Background I have created using the above CD
3. I printed the image onto Supersmooth then fussy cut out then adhered to card with Pinflair.
4. I made 3 loops with cream ribbon and added 3 flowers from Sweet Lilac
5. To finish off I added the Diamante flourish from Tattered Lace and clear gems to two of the corners.

Fluttering Butterflies

A quick post this morning as I have a few errands to do before I visit my friend this afternoon.

Today's card I made for the One Word Challenge (Celebration) over on Mad Crafter's Giggle Facebook Group.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card with scalloped and embossed front.
2. I embossed parchment with Embossalicious Floray Frenzy embossing folder then distressed the back with PanPastel Red Tint.
3. I matted and layered this onto white pearlescent card with brads and wrapped pink gingham ribbon around before placing on the base card.
4. The butterflies I stamped onto parchment with white ink and embossed with white embossing powder again I distressed the back of the butterflies with PanPastel Red Tint.
5. To finish off I added pink gems to the butterfly bodies and the 50th birthday sentiment.

Elisabeth Bells World Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I hope you have all had a wonderful day, it sure has been a busy one for me.

Today is the start of our new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell World and this month we would like to see your projects for our Pretty in Pink challenge.  We look forward to seeing your entries and please check out the blog to see what the design team have created.

The image I have used is from Elisabeth Bell's Digi Shop called "Little Mama".


Step by Step

1. White fancy edged white A5 card.
2. First layer is a doily I have distressed with Victorian Velvet
3. The second layer have been cut out with SB Curved Rectangle and then embossed.
4. I cut out a piece of pink polka dot card with above die then attached a heart charm with a brad.
5. I printed off the image onto Supersmooth and coloured with Spectrum Noirs, I then cut out with above die and attached to polka dot card.
6. To finish off I die cut the Tattered Lace bunting using white pearlescent card, added a white leaf heart stick pins and flowers from Sweet Lilac.

Winter Wishes

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy Bank Holiday to my UK friends, and as typical of British weather this time of year it is raining, I am going to have a day of colouring me thinks!  What about you what are you up too?

Well yesterday my cousin Paul nominated me to do the Ice Bucket Challenge! 
The water was freezing but I am glad I did it as it was in aid of ALS charity for Motor Neurone Disease.

On Your Wedding Day

A beautiful sunny morning here and I am more or less all caught up on my DT work!

What plans have you got today? I have a few birthday cards to sort out and a parcel to get ready for posting for a very special lady.

Today's card is a wedding card.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card which I have matted and layered pale green card which I have embossed with Embossalicious Swirl Corner embossing folder.
2. The topper has been distressed around the edges with Dew Drop Brilliance Gold then matted and layered on pale green and gold mirri card.
3. I made a double bow with ribbon which came off a gift box and added a pearl centre.
4. To finish off I have added pearl gems to the flourishes and added a sentiment.

A Girls Best Friend

I had a lovely visit with my parents yesterday who are both keeping well.

A very busy couple of days, lots of DT and Admin work to get sorted before I go away. 10 days and counting, I sure am ready for my holiday.

Today I am sharing with you all another vintage card, I am really enjoying making these, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream card which I have matted and layered Kraft card and pearlescent mink card.
2. I embossed white card with the Vintage embossing folder and distressed with DI Tea Dye
3. The image is from Scribble and Scrap which I printed onto Supersmooth, distressed with DI Tea Dye and matted and layered onto mink card.
4.  I placed a piece of lace and brown velvet ribbon across the centre of the lace and added the sentiment.
5. To finish off I added the crocheted doily two metal flowers and pearl centres.

Friendship Blog Hop

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Follower and Visitors

Today my blogging and Facebook friends are taking part in a Friendship blog hop for our very dear friend Lisa who has been poorly for a few months.

We all hope you will take part in this hop and leave some get well wishes and love on her blog!

I was very lucky to meet this beautiful lady last November at the NEC. We have been friends for a couple of years so it was a great joy to finally meet her in person.

This is what I have made for Lisa and I hope she likes it as it was made with love!


I have altered an MDF Heart with Graphic 45 Botanical Tea, I added her name the letter have been distressed with Victorian Velvet, added feather, butterfly stem, birdcage and bird.


I have stencilled leaves with diamond sparkle medium.


Also stencilled a teacup with a bird on the handle with diamond Sparkle Medium.

The sentiment reads "Friends are the gifts you give yourself" and Lisa most certainly is one gift that I will treasure!

Puppy Love

I have had a lovely day today, Kath came around and sorted out my printer, she is a star!

Tonight's card I made for the Mad Crafter's Giggle One Word Challenge on Facebook.
Today's word is Star, I have added star gems to the centre of the flowers and on the sentiment.




Step by Step

1. White scalloped circular card which I have matted and layered purple patterned card.
2. The second layer is gold linen card cut out with SB Grande Scalloped Circle die.
3. Third layer is lilac satin mirri card cut out with circle die.
4. The topper is pre-coloured and from Hobby House.
5. To finish off I have added pearl butterfly, sentiment, gold leave and pearl spray, the flowers are from Sweet Lilac with star gems in the centres and on the sentiment.

Step by Step

1. 15 x 15 square craft card with corners punched with inverted corner punch
2. Matted and layered gold and copper pearlescent card.
3. The topper (Scribble and Scrap)I have matted and layered onto copper pearlescent card.
4. I added a layer of lace and pearl bead trim.
5. To finish off I added another of my doilies with a flower (Sweet Lilac) and the sentiment.

Fun in the Sun

How are you all doing?  
Hasn't the weather been awful the past couple of weeks, so ready for my holiday. Two weeks today and counting.

Today's card is made using Hobby House Elisabeth Bell Topper


Step by Step

1. A6 scalloped white card.
2. The first layer is Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue which I have wrapped Baker's twine and added a boat charm before adhering to base card.
3. I cut down the topper and distressed with Dew Drops Versamagic wheat before matting onto Graphic 45 paper with foam pads for dimension.
4. From the scrap paper I cut out a fish and used Tim Holtz Chit Chat words.
5. To finish off I added faux stitching around the base card and the sentiment.

Missing You!

I hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend.

I had a very busy day yesterday getting quite a few of my DT work done. 

Here is my card for you today.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square cream card which I have matted and layered pink polka dot and brown spotty card.
2. The topper I have matted and layered onto pearlescent gold card.
3. I cut the envelope and slotted the postcard and added SWALK onto the envelope and missing you onto the postcard.
4. To finish off I made a double bow, added pink roses from Sweet Lilac and pearl gems to 2 corners.

Hi

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I have a lovely day yesterday, quality time with my Rick and retail therapy too.
I got quite a few bargains and lots of goodies for me to alter, going to be quite busy this winter.

Today I have yet another Tag to share with you.


Step by Step

1. I cut out a piece of cardboard 25 x 10 cm and covered both sides with Bo Bunny papers.
2. I layered across the bottom some lace I bought in Turkey with ribbon threaded through the top.
3. I stamped the Prima Doll onto Supersmooth and coloured with Spectrum Noir Pencils, fussy cut out and adhered to the tag.
4. I added 2 scrabble tiles and a butterfly from my stash.
5. To finish off I added 3 silver metal flowers with pearl centres, added pearls to the top of the tag and on the flowers of the lace then threaded through crushed satin ribbon.

GDT for Digi Bells

I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.

Today I am sharing my first post as GDT for Digi Bells, this is my second term as GDT and I was really honoured when I was asked if I would be interested, of course there was no hesitation as I am a BIG fan of Elisabeth Bell's super cute images.

For my first card I have used L'il Lillian, isn't she a cutie?


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square scalloped and embossed front card
2. Matted and layered turquoise satin mirri and yellow pearlescent card.
3. Attached the lace along the bottom half with pearl gems on the centre of the flowers and a silver mirri butterfly.
4. Printed the image onto Supersmooth and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens, cut out and matted and layered onto turquoise satin mirri card.
5. To finish off I added flowers from Sweet Lilac and some flourishes.

Where Fairies Dwell

A quick post this morning as off out with hubby today.

We are going to Lady Hayes in Frodsham to have a mooch and out for lunch too.

Today's card is one I made using Lelli-Bot Crafts  Fantasy Fairies kit.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square cream card which I have matted and layered copper pearlescent card with corners punched with X-Cut punch.
2. The paper I have matted onto mustard coloured card, stamped two of the fairies with Versafine and embossed, I added white highlights on the fairies and glitter around the lights.
3. I stamped the 3rd fairy onto the topper and highlighted, also glittered the butterflies.
4. To finish off I added green card candy.

Time

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A quick post as I would like to share my card which I have made for the One Word Wonder

Each day over on Mad Crafters Giggle we have a challenge set by the winner of the previous challenge.

Today's word is Number/s here is my card.

Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 cream square card which I have mat and layered black and brown card.
2. The topper is Neenah Kraft card which I have added DI Ripe Persimmon, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade. I then stippled Radiant Rain Autumn Leaf shimmering mist, added a couple of drops of Ginger Peach onto my craft mat and swooshed the card over this.
3. Using Visible Image number stamps I stamped using Versafine Vintage Sepia on all four corners.
4. On another piece of Neenah Craft card I stamped the two pocket watches and the word Time with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed with WOW embossing powder. 
5. To finish off I cut around the watches and word time distressed around the edges and distressed one watch with Ripe Persimmon and the other with Spiced Marmalade.
