Happy Anniversary

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Yippee the weekend is here!
What do you have planned for this weekend?

I am going to be generally chillin out, once my domestic goddess duties are done. I am hoping to spend the weekend colouring up a storm!
I have some new stamps I want to colour up and make into cards.

My card for you today is an anniversary card.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card.
2. First layer is green card which I have punched the corners.
3. The second card is purple stripped which has been matted and layered onto the green card with the purple heart ribbon wrapped around both cards before adhering to the base card.
4. I matted and layered the Topper onto green card and glittered up areas of the topper.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment, pearl gems and pearl dragonfly.

Gone Artsy DT

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

My second blog post for today, I think this must be a first for me 3 blog posts in one day.

I am sharing with you my Gone Artsy DT project.

Have you visited the Zibbet store yet?
Deb has fabulous lace and gorgeous bling!

My project is a Christening card which showcases some of Deb's products.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card.
2. First layer is linen card distressed with Victorian Velvet then matted and layered to base card.
3. Two heart doilies were then adhered to card and then decoupaged the baby image with Pinflair.
4. I attached the pale pink lace along the bottom and the crown pearl charm to the card (both from Gone Artsy)
5. To finish off I attached the sentiment.

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered floral paper printed from Kraftyhands Femme Fatal CD
2. The topper is from my stash which I have wrapped green ribbon around before matting and layering onto yellow pearlescent card.
3. Down the left hand side I have adhered cream lace and a row of pearls.
4. To finish off I added the birthday sentiment.

Chilling Out

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A busy admin day today, lots of DT blog posts to prep and hoping to get some crafting done this afternoon.

What are you all up too today!

My card today features another Sherri Baldy image.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card, I matted and layered yellow pearlescent card at an angle onto the base card.
2. The next layer is part of the Hunkydory Antique Kit, I wrapped navy blue ribbon around two of the corners before matting and layering onto the pearlescent card.
3. I printed the image onto white Supersmooth card and coloured with Copics. I then cut out with SB Rectangle die and adhered to card.
4. I added 3 paper roses, metal leaf and a small dragonfly charm to nestle in one of the roses.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and the pearl and diamante bling from Gone Artsy.

Elisabeth Bells February Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Follower and Visitors

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell World Challenge Blog

The theme for this month is
Pretty in Pink

I have used Cinnamon Sugar Stamp from Whimsy Stamps create my project


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card made into an easel card.
2. Matt and layered silver pearlescent card then embossed butterfly card distressed with DI spun sugar. A white strand of floral pearls across the middle to act as a stopper.
3. Matt and layered silver pearlescent card, stripped card is from First Edition Sweet Owl.
4. Stamped the image onto Super smooth card, coloured with Copics and then cut out with Scalloped Rectangle die, distressed around with spun sugar DI. Matted and layered with foam pads.
5. To finish off I added pink and white heart lace down the side with pearl floral trim along the top, butterfly, a lace leaf and 3 pink roses.

Gone Artsy DT Post

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I have had a very busy morning so far.
Kath is coming around today and so looking forward to a good crafting day.

Today I am sharing my Gone Artsy February Project with you.

The theme we were given was Love and our first project is for Weddings
I have decorate an MDF Horseshoe to give to the bride.


Painted MDF horseshoe with Gesso and white acrylic paint. I then sprayed spray and sparkle pink iridescent spray which gives it a lovely sheen.
The pink heart lace, cabachon's and butterfly are from Gone Artsy Zibbet shop
Check this shop out as there are some fabulous laces and embellishments, and the bling is blingalicious!


To finish off I added pink roses.

Digi Bells DT Post

Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Another crafting afternoon spent with my mate Jennifer.

Will show you all later what I have created.

My turn to share with you my Digi Bells project and I have used 
Going on a Walk which you can purchase here.


Step by Step

1. A5 shaped card, I have had this card for a while and not sure where it is from.
2. First layer is butterfly paper from my stash cut to fit the base card.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copics, I then cut out with SB Labels 29 die before matting and layering onto pale pink pearlescent card cut using the same die.
4. To finish off I added metal butterfly charm, metal corners with flowers from Wild Orchid.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. First layer is printed from Kraftyhands Femme Fatal CD.
3. Printed off the image onto Supersmooth and then matted and layered onto vintage card from stash.
4. I added the postcard which has been distressed with Forest Moss.
5. To finish off I added a metal corner, pearl stands, roses and the sentiment.

A Hug

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I have had a good productive day today, managed to get a few DT projects done.

Still a lot more to do, but at least I have made a start.

A card made using a Sherri Baldy image I won, 


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card.
2. I matted and layered green polka dot card with heart ribbon wrapped around the card.
3. I printed the image onto Supersmooth card and coloured with Copics then cut out with SB Curved Rectangle die then matted and layered onto purple card.
4. I cut out the bunting with Tattered Lace die and added purple roses to the metal flower.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and the gem butterfly.

Time for Tea

Such a busy week ahead as I am so far behind from last weeks fiasco with technology.
Fingers crossed it is all sorted now as I have so much DT work to catch up on!

Today is another card made using the Hunkydory Antique Chic card Kit


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered green satin finish mirri card.
2. The next layer is from the Hunkydory Antique Chic paper pack.
3. The topper I have matted and layered with foam pads for dimension.
4. In one corner I have added a metal corner and distressed a cream rose.
5. To finish off I have added the sentiment and a metal butterfly to the topper.

Step back in Time

Rick and I are off to see our Granddaughters today.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I have quite a few male relatives who have birthday coming up soon.
This is one of the male cards I have made.

This card was made using the Man about Town CD from Kraftyhands!


Step by Step

I have printed off all the elements onto Supersmooth card
 I then cut out,  distressed with Vintage Photo before assembling my stepper card. 
The button I have threaded real twine through the two holes I made with my pokey tool.

DT Digi Belles Project

Afternoon Crafty Friends Followers and Visitors

How is your weekend going so far?
Kath and I had a lovely mooch round the Leigh Craft show.

Today it is my turn to showcase another of Elisabeth Bell's Digital Images.

Today I have used L'il Lilian


Step by Step

1. White square based card with scalloped and embossed front.
2. First layer is green pearlescent card, I cut out lemon card using Label 1 SB die.
3. I printed the image onto white Supersmooth and coloured with Copics, cut out with SB labels 1 die and distressed with yellow PanPastels.
4. I added an array of flowers to the top corner and made a double bow and added a pale green pearl gem.
5. To finish off I added pearl gems to the 2 corners.

Pretty Geek

How are you all today?
I sure am glad that this week is over as it has been a technological nightmare!

Taking myself off too the Leigh show today for some R & R.

Today's card is made using a prize of decoupage sheets from Sherri Baldy.


Step by Step

1. Pink Label's 1 shaped card.
2. First and second layers were cut using SB dies with white pearlescent card both distressed with PanPastels.
3. The image has been printed out onto Supersmooth then cut out and layered with Pinflair.
4. Added lace across the bottom with pale pink pearl trim across the top.
5. To finish off a metal leaf and flowers were added as well as the birthday sentiment.

Life is a Journey

Another male card made using the Hunkydory Antique Chic Kit.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. I matted and layered green card distressed with DI Forest Moss
3. I then matted and layered patterned paper from the kit and wrapped Baker's Twine around before adhering to base card.
4. I used the sentiment as the focal point and added die cuts from the kit around which have all been distressed with Forest Moss and Tea Dye.

Had a lovely visit with my parents this morning, both are looking really well and keeping well too.

Went and had lunch with Jennifer and her cousin Mary.

This afternoon a couple of DT projects to make a start on and a YouTube video to do to.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped and embossed front square card.
2. First layer card from Aspire with lace pattern.
3. Second layer is from my stash which I cut out with SB Rectangle die.
4. Stamped Tatty onto Supersmooth and coloured with my Copics, then cut out with SB Labels 29.
5.  To finish off I added the heart button, Thinking of You sentiment, Metal leaf and butterfly and flower.

Flying High

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A quick post this morning as I am off to see my parents.
On the technology front, new phone arrived and computer is playing nicely, long may it continue!

Another card made from the Hunkydory Antique Chic Kit

There are some lovely toppers and papers to make male cards too.


Step by Step

1. White square card made into an Easel Card.
2. On the base I have matted and layered paper from the kit onto Kraft card which have been distressed with Weathered Wood and Vintage Photo.
3. To act as a stopper I have cut a strip of card and wrapped Baker's twine and adhered to base card with foam tape.
4. The front of the easel I have matted and layered Kraft card with card from the kit both distressed with above mentioned ink.
5. The topper came in 3 piece which I distressed and matted and layered at different angles, the topper with foam pads and also the sentiment.

Flower Fairies

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well yesterday was a complete fiasco of a day!
Iphone died so spent the morning sorting out a new phone!
Then the flippin computer had a dicky fit! Fingers are crossed I got that sorted now!

Last week I was sorting out a few of my stamps and found these oldies from Crafter Companion!
As you know I do love my fairies and haven't used these stamps for a few years so I dusted them of and this is the first one I have coloured, she is called Wild Cherry!


Step by Step

1. Centura pearlescent card scored to create an A5 card.
2. First layer is pink pearlescent card.
3. The second layer is card from the Hunkydory Antique Chic card kit.
4. I added the cream lace and small blossoms along the bottom half of the card.
5. Stamped the fairy onto Neenah card and coloured with Copics, glittered the wings then cut out with Spellbinder Scalloped Oval die, distressed around with  DI Tattered Rose.
6. To finish off I added a butterfly and pearl gems to 2 of the corners.

Pretty in Pink

We have beautiful blue skies here but a bit chilly.

I had a wonderful time at the Trade Show in Birmingham and it was fabulous catching up with lots of my crafting friends.

Today I have yet another card from the Hunkydory Antique Chic Kit.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. First layer is pink card.
3. The image is from the paper pack (it reminds me of the silent movies actresses)
4. Down the left hand side I have added cream lace and pale pink ribbon.
5. To finish off I added a metal corner, pearl floral gems to the centre flowers in the lace and the birthday sentiment.

Deep in Thought

Last day for me at the Trade Show and making my way home tonight.

I must say that I am very impressed with the Hunkydory Antique Chic Kit.

I am not one for purchasing kits as a rule but I do love my vintage and this appealed to me.

Here is another card using components from the kit.


Step by Step

1. Scored an A4 card to create an A5 card.
2. The image I matted and layered onto pale pink card from the kit.
3. Along the bottom I have added lace and pearl floral strand from my stash.
4. To finish off I added the sentiment and an insert.

Imagination Crafts February Inspiration

Half way through the month and time for inspiration over at
Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog

Here is my card using Imagination Crafts products from the website.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white shaped square card.
2. Cut out a large circle with pink card using SB Grande Circle
3. Stencil Sparkle Medium Silver Rose over the floral stencil on acetate and leave to dry, once dry cut out with Circle Die.
4. Cut out a frame using 2 circle dies and place over the acetate.
5. To finish off stamp 2 butterflies onto vellum and embossing with white embossing powder and colour with PanPastel Magenta. Attach the sentiment and white pearl butterfly.

Step by Step

1. DL white card which I have matted and layered green pearlescent card.
2. Using Spellbinder Curved Rectangle die cut out lilac card.
3. Stamped image onto Supersmooth and stamped Katie and coloured with Copics, glittered butterflies and cut out using Spellbinder Curved Rectangle Die.
4. Added white floral lace and pearl trim along bottom of card.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment, butterfly and lilac pearl gems.

Octavia

Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today Rick and I celebrate 16 years of wedded bliss!
The time sure has flown and not sure what he has planned for today.
We are off out tonight for a meal that I do know!

A card made using Octavia Moonfly, this is one of the digi's from the CD


Step by Step

1. A5 cream card which I have matted and layered pale orange card which I have distressed with DI Ripe Persimmon.
2. The next layer is from Prima Botanical Collection paper distressed with Forest Moss
3. I printed Octavia onto Supersmooth and coloured with Copic Ciao markers, cut out using Labels 29 and distressed around the edges with Forest Moss. I then matted and layered onto orange card cut out with Labels 29.
4. I added orange lace across the bottom and to finish off glittered the wings on Octavia and added 3 butterflies.
