Smile it's your Birthday

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well the last day of March today this month sure has whizzed past!

Today I am sharing a card using one of the Digi's I won from Holley's Candy.

Thanks Holley, the image I chose is from Sherri Baldy.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card which I have matted and layered mirri card at an angle.
2. I cut out the over the edge tonic die and adhered to the second layer which is from First Edition Boho Chic paper pack.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copic's then matted and layered onto mirri card.
4. I added the leaf flourish and flowers from my stash.
5. To finish off I added gold pearl gems and the "Happy Birthday" sentiment.

Time for Tea DT New Release

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all this afternoon, still feeling sick to my stomach and not eating.

Today I am sharing with you another new release by Jo from Time for Tea Designs.

For my project I have used Sisters which you can purchase here.




Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white linen base card which I have matted and layered blue card onto the base.
2. I added lace from my stash to the bottom half of the card.
3. Printed the sisters onto supersmooth card coloured with Copics and then cut out using SB Labels 29 die and matted and layered onto pink pearlescent card also cut out with labels 29 die.
4. I added the leafy flourish and added roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.
5. To finish off I added the strand of pearls, tiny butterfly and the sentiment.

Birthday!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well what an awful weekend I have had, I have had the 48 hour bug that is doing the rounds.
Still don't feel 100% but got lots to make a start on today.

31 years ago today I was in hospital waiting for the safe arrival of my youngest son.

Where has the time gone? Now he is a father to my two beautiful granddaughters.

A quick card to share today using another of Sheena Douglass' A little bit sketchy stamps.


Step by Step

1. Kraft A6 card which I have added burlap as the first layer.
2. The second layer is brown embossed card.
3. The topper was made using a background I created using mica powders and inkadinks. I stamped the image using Vintage Photo and then embossed. I also stamped the little birds with Wild Honey and embossed. Using colouring pencils, I highlighted areas of the tree and scene.
4. To finish off I added the sentiment.

Time for Tea DT New Release

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well today I am sharing with you my project using one of the new release images from Jo over at Time for Tea Designs.

This little beauty is called Baker and you can purchase her here.




Step by Step

1. White pearlescent card cut out using Grande Scalloped Circle Die, folded in half to create the base for my rocker card.
2. Using lilac polka dot card from Anne Marie designs I cut out using Grande Circle die.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth card and coloured with Copic's, die cut using Oval die and matted and layered onto pearlescent card cut out with Scalloped Oval.
4. Along the top I added the Tattered Lace Bunting cut out with pearlescent card.
5. To finish off I made a double bow with lilac organza ribbon, added the cupcake and spoon metal charms and pearl flat back gems.

Butterfly Lady

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all doing today?
After yesterday's gorgeous weather, today, yes you guessed it we have rain!

All domestic goddess duties are done for this week apart from the ironing.

My card for you today is created using one of the digi images from Polkadoodles Eden CD.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card, matted and layered orange card onto the base.
2. I then cut out SB Curved Rectangle Die and coloured around the edges to match the colour of the image's dress.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth card and coloured with Copics and Spica pens. I then cut out with curved rectangle and matted and layered onto card.
4. I added the lace (this is one from Turkey) down the left side, I cut out the SB butterflies using orange and yellow card and placed them onto the lace.
5. To finish off I added the 3 flowers from Wild Orchid.

Gone Artsy DT Project

Friendship

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A scheduled post this morning as will be visiting my parents when this goes live.

I hope you all have a wonderful day whatever you are doing.

Today's card is another I made last week at Kath's, 
Kath created the background using Brusho's, this was using the remains that were on her desk after she created her own backgrounds and I loved this.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card which I have matted and layered brown embossed card.
2. Second layer is gold pearlescent card matted and layered up to top left corner.
3 The topper I have stamped the tree, sentiment and geese with Versamark and embossed with WOW Gold embossing powder. I then matted and layered to the bottom right corner.
4. To finish off I added 3 metal buttons, metal corner and a bird embellishments.

Elisabeth Bell's March Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Time for another  new challenge over at


This month I chose the theme which is 

Lace and Pearls

I will be sponsoring the prize for this months challenge.




Step by Step

1. A5 shaped card from my stash.
2. Decorated the base card with patterned paper from my stash.
3. Along the join of the two papers I have added cream lace and across the top of the lace a strip of pale pink pearls.
4. I stamped the image called April Sunshine and is from Whimsy Stamps onto Supersmooth card, coloured with Copics and then cut out with SB Fleur De Lis die and distressed with tattered rose.
5. To finish off I added flowers.

Gone Artsy Wedding Project

Today I am sharing my Gone Artsy DT wedding project with you!

The theme we were given for this month was Steampunk!

Digi Bell DT Post

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends Followers and Visitors

Today it is my turn to share with you my design team project for Digi Bells.

For my project I have used the image " Going for a walk" which you can purchase over at the Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection.


Step by Step

1. A5 oval shaped side card which I have matted and layered butterfly paper.
2. I printed the image onto Supersmooth, coloured with Copics and cut out with SB Labels 29.
3. I then matted and layered onto pale pink pearlescent card also cut out with SB Labels 29.
4. In the corner I have added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a couple of metal embellishments.
5. To finish off I added the metal butterfly.

A quick post this morning as lots to do today.

1. The background I created using Mica Sprays and shaving foam.
2. Using Sheena Douglass' Little Bit Sketchy stamps I stamped once with black ink and embossed, then again using Versamark and Distress Gold Embossing powder and finally again stamped with black and embossed.
3. I stamped the butterfly and embossed with gold embossing powder.
4. I added the metal corner and dragonfly.
5. To finish off I added the adage ticket with a small wooden peg and gold organza ribbon.

Morning Glory

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today? I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I have had a lovely time enjoying revisiting stamps, stencils and inks.

Today my card is made using another Chocolate Baroque stamp.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card
2 I wrapped gold organza ribbon around purple and white stripped card before matting and layering onto the base card.
3. I stencilled diamond stencil with DI Dusty Concord and stamped the image with Versafine Imperial Purple and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then coloured the flowers with Distress Ink Markers.
4. To finish off I added the dragonfly charm and lilac pearl cabachon.

Master Butterfly

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

It was a fabulous sunny day yesterday and got all my washing dried and ironed.

It looks like it could be another beautiful day here too.

Today's card is made using a couple of Sheena Douglass' stamps.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card.
2. First layer is dark green card matted and layered at an angle.
3. I stamped the sentiment onto a sheet of Prima Nature Garden paper with Spanish Moss Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then matted and layered at an angle.
4. I stamped the butterfly, leaf and flowers onto marbled background card with versafine and embossed with gold embossing powder then cut out and arrange onto the card.
5. To finish off I added florist wire as the antenna on the butterfly.

Time for Tea Designs

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today I am sharing a new card using one of Jo's images over at
Time for Tea Designs.

This little cutie is called Pretty Summer Dress


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square front scalloped embossed card.
2. Yellow and green patterned card matted and layered at angles.
3. Printed the image off onto white supersmooth and coloured with Copics. I then cut out and matted and layered onto yellow card.
4. I used some yellow and white lace to create a corner and added green leaves a daffodil and 2 cream tulips from Wild Orchid.
5. To finish off I made a triple bow with green ribbon, a pearl cabachon and a die cut butterfly.

I want to Ride my Bicycle

Friday has arrived once again, the weeks sure are going rather too quick.

The weather here in Warrington has been gorgeous over the past few days.
I hope it has been good wherever you are.

A birthday card to share with you today.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card, first layer is sky card from my stash.
2. On white card I stencilled the wall using DI vintage photo and peeled paint.
3. The topper I distressed with peeled paint and adhered to card.
4. I cut out flourishes and distressed then using pink blossoms from my stash arranged up the card.
5. To finish of I added the sentiment and 3 more blossoms and a cute bird charm.

I had a wonderful day yesterday with my very good friend Kath.
Off course we got mucky paws but had a fun filled crafting day.

I managed to get 2 DT projects done and made some toppers for cards.

Today I am sharing a card I made using my Chocolate Baroque Steampunk Bird stamps last week.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream card, matted and layered Kraft and black card.
2. The topper I stencilled diamond using DI tea dye and then stencilled distress ink over the steampunk stencil. I drew around with black micron pen and DI marker. I then stamped the bird house and coloured with DI markers.
3. Onto supersmooth card I stamped the birds, cut out and coloured with DI markers. I then decoupaged the birds with Pinflair.
4. To finish off I added the copper card candy.

Earth Laughs in Flowers

A quick post today as I am off to Kath's today.

I am sharing with you one of my cards I created last Wednesday when Kath came to ours.

For my card I used one of my favourite stamps from Chocolate Baroque


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white linen card.
2. Matted and layered pink and navy blue card.
3. To create the topper I colour washed pearlescent card with  3 colours of Inkadinks, once dry I then stencilled bubbles stencil with chipped sapphire. I then stamped the image using Versafine Crimson Red and embossed, then stamped the sentiment.
4. On a separate piece of card I stamped and embossed the image coloured with Distress Ink Markers and decoupaged over the topper.
5. To finish off I added the pearl flourish and butterfly.

A step back to the 20's

Feel like half of me is missing as my hard drive has had to go in for some repair and health check.
Using hubby's at the moment and oh dear it is soooooooo slow!

A male card to share with you today.

Kraftyhands Man about Town CD, the images remind me of the Al Capone era!
The doily and buttons are from Gone Artsy


Step by Step

1. Kraft card scored to create an A5 Landscape card.
2. First layer is navy blue card distressed with scissors and matted and layered at an angle.
3. Next layer are doilies cut and distressed with faded jeans.
4. Patterned card distressed with faded jeans and scissor before matting and layering onto card.
4. The image has also bee distressed with scissors and faded jeans.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and buttons.

Wish

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

As you know my crafty friend Kath is a fabulous designer and has set up her own store.
She has stamp and stencil designs and also sells metal ornaments too.

Today my card is made using Hessian Stamp Set which you can find here.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. First layer is black card.
3. The topper I have created by adding 3 distress ink Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Tumbled Glass, I stamped the silhouette flowers first in Memento London Fog, I then stamped them again using Tuxedo Black. To finish off I stencilled the birds with Chipped Sapphire and stamped the word wish.
4. To finish off I wrapped Baker's Twine around and matted and layered onto the base card.

Happy Mother's Day

My card today is for all my lovely friends, followers and visitors!

Happy Mother's Day to all!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and are spoilt by your family!

My card has been made using Imagination Crafts Products.



Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. First layer is a white doily
3. Second layer is deep pink card cut out with SB Circle die.
4. The next layer is Celtic Dreams Die called Elegance and I used pink haze gradient card, I brayered Diamond Sparkle Medium over the die and once dry matted and layered onto the base card.
5. To finish off I added a couple of die cut butterflies, added pearl strands and pink roses.

Eastern Promise Tatty Twinkle

How are you all today?

We are off out to spend some time with my mum today with it being Mother's day tomorrow.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Today is another Tatty Twinkle card to share!


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square linen card
2. First two layers are from Sheena Douglass Eastern paper pack.
3. Stamped Tatty onto Supersmooth and coloured with Copics, cut out with SB Oval die then matted and layered onto deep red card cut out with SB scalloped Oval die.
4. I cut out the letters "MUM" using Tattered Lace Alphabet Die
5. To finish off I added the metal butterfly, sentiment and added pearl gems to 3 corners.

With all our Love

Friday already, all domestic duties are done for this week.

It is a miserable day but hubby and I going off out for a mooch.

Hoping to get into the craft room at some stage today.

Today a birthday card using another of the Hobby House toppers.



Step by Step

1. A5 cream square card which I have matted and layered pink pearlescent card.
2. Second layer is from Hunkydory Antique Chic card and wrapped cream ribbon around the top corner and made a bow and added a heart gem to the centre.
3. Distressed the topper with DI tattered rose then matted and layered onto a circular doily which has been distressed with shabby shutters.
4. I then added leaf lace and flowers across the bottom.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and butterfly gem.  I am also sharing the inside of the card with the insert.

True Friends Always

First I would like to welcome all my new followers, thank you for deciding to follow my blog and I hope you enjoy your visits.

I had a fabulous day yesterday getting all inked up and such fabulous company too!

I made quite a few cards and will share with you all once I have finished them off.

Today another card to share using the fabulous Eden CD by Nikky Hall.

This CD is fabulous, I love the papers, images and everything is such a joy to create with.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card, I have distressed a square doily with DI Weathered Wood.
2. I matted and layered the image which I cut out with SB oval die onto blue card cut out with pearlescent card using SB scalloped oval.
3. Printed the sentiment off and distressed with weathered wood.
4. Cut out the fence with cream pearlescent card, punched flowers from paper from the CD and decorated the fence.
5. To finish off I cut out the Whimsy butterfly and added the cream bird.
