Final GDT for Outlawz

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors 

Today I am sharing with you my last GDT for Outlawz Greetings Challenge 

I would like to thank everyone at Outlawz for asking me to be part of their challenges for this month and I hope you have all been inspired by my projects.

The challenge for this week is "Anything Goes" and we are sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps and I have used Mia and Marley.


Step by Step

1. I created a centre stepper card using white pearlescent card.
2. On two side pieces I added iridescent white lace.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copic markers then matted and layered onto white card.
4. Along the bottom I added Wild Orchid roses and metal leaves.
5. To finish off I added pink pearl flatback gems and the sentiment.

Dance Ballerina Dance

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy Sunday to you all!

Going to have a relaxing day today, going to sit and watch some films while knitting. I have started making myself an aran cardigan, not made anything for a while and will share with you once it is finished.

Today a card using the ballerina card kit by Hunkydory called Dance First, Think Later!


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square card.
2. Matted and layered brown pearlescent card.
3. The next layer is from the card kit which I have wrapped lace around before adhering to the base card.
4. Added the ballet pumps and sentiment topper onto foam pads for dimension.
5. To finish off I added the pearl floral corners.

Beauty is as Beauty Does

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Saturday sure has come around quick this week!

Not long now until Christmas and not enough time to finish making my Christmas cards so for the first time in 17 years I have bought some just in case they are needed.

Today a card using a Sherri Baldy Image 813


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card.
2. Matted and layered dark green and polka dot card onto base of card.
3. Printed the image onto supersmooth, coloured with Copics and the matted and layered onto dark green card then added faux stitching around the image.
4. Wrapped gold organza ribbon around both layers
5. To finish off made a triple bow, added the dress charm and sentiment.

Pink Christmas

This is a scheduled post as I will be on my way down to London to record my first shows for The Craft Channel.

I am nervous but so excited and will let you know how I get on and when the shows are scheduled.

Today a Christmas card to share with you all!


Step by Step

1. A5 white card which I have matted and layered pink pearlescent card.
2. The next layer is silver plearlescent card.
3. The topper is an old one I have had for a while and I added more glitter to her cape.
4. To finish off I added the sentiment and pearl gems.

Heartfelt Birthday Wishes

A very busy day here today, lots to get finished off.

What are you up too today? I hope you have a wonderful day.

A birthday card to share with you today using Hunkydory My Fair Lady card kit.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square scalloped edged card.
2. Matted and layered mirri card onto base card.
3. Next layer is card from the card kit which I have wrapped blue organza ribbon around.
4. I added the topper with foam pads for dimension and added the feather in her hat.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment, heart gems, triple bow and heart gem to centre of bow.

GDT for Outlaws Greetings Challenge

Well today is my penultimate post as GDT for Outlawz Greeting's Challenge Blog.

The theme is Christmas in 2 Colours.

I have used Frozen Luna Moonflower


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square card.
2. Matted and layered Centura blue and purple Christmas pearlescent card, wrapping blue organza ribbon around the centre of the card.
3. Printed the image onto supersmooth card and colour with watercolour pencils, cut out with SB Scalloped Rectange die and distressed with Dew Drop blue ink.
4. Matted and layered topper onto pearlescent card.
5. To finish off I added a triple bow, clear gems, sentiment and pearl gem to centre of bow.

Julia Spiri's Vintage Hair

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Did you have a lovely day yesterday?

I got quite a bit done and hoping to finish off what I need to get done.

I have used a Julia Spiri Vintage Hair image.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 Kraft Card corners punched with x-cut corner punch.
2. Peach coloured card distressed with DI Vintage Photo.
3. Next layer is card I found in my stash and added the clock hands and compass with brads.
4. Printed image onto supersmooth, coloured with Copics then matted and layered onto peach card.
5. To finish off I made a bow with twine and added ribbon then the sentiment.

You're So Special

A crafting weekend planned with lots to get done before Monday.

I spotted this new Hunkydory kit which features ballerinas and fell in love with it.
My granddaughters go to ballet every Saturday and look adorable in their tutu's.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 scalloped white card.
2. First layer is silver pearlescent card.
3. Next layer is from the kit which I have then added the topper and frame.
4. I added the sentiment and the pearl trim.
5. To finish off I added a double black bow with a pearl gem.

Miss Frosty

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

YAY it's Friday! What are you up to this weekend.

I still have quite a few Christmas cards to make and resorted to buying some just in case.

A Christmas card to share with you using Cute as a Button Miss Frosty.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I cut the corners using x-cut corner punch.
2. First layer is gold mirri card and I have matted and layered gingham Centura card.
3. I printed Miss Frosty onto supersmooth card, coloured with Copic markers and distressed the edges with DI Dusty Concorde, then matted and layered onto gold mirri card.
4. Made a double bow with gingham ribbon added a button with a bow made from thread.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and pearl gems.

Just for You

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all doing? 

As you know I love my Steampunk so I have another Steampunk card to share with you today. 

I have used Lelli-bot Crafts Steampunk stamps and card kit.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card which I have matted and layered patterned pearlescent card.
2. The next layer is patterned paper from the kit which I have stamped the mannequin.
3. I the stamped the bodice onto lilac patterned paper and the skirt onto brown patterned paper, cut them out and paper pieced them over the mannequin.
4. I added lace and pearls along the right side of the mannequin.
5. To finish off I added the metal flower and small blossom along with the sentiment.

Rosebud Door Hanger

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Off to visit my friend Kath today for a crafting session.

I hope you all have a wonderful day whatever you are up to.

Sharing a door hanger using Elisabeth Bell's Rosebud.



Step by Step

1. Paint the MDF door hanger with white acrylic paint.
2. Give paper and hanger a coat of Mod Podge then adhere paper.
3. Stamped image onto supersmooth and colour with Copics then cute out with SB die, distress around edges with DI milled lavender and mat and layer onto a doily onto the hanger.
4. Arrange Wild Orchid flowers and pearl trim which have been distressed with DI milled lavender.
5. To finish off add a butterfly.

GDT for TTCRD

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today I am sharing my GDT for Through the Craft Room Door.

I was asked by Deonna if I would like to be a GDT following my win with my altered alarm clock.

The theme as always is Anything Goes


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card which I have matted and layered patterned card from my stash.
2. I embossed Kraft card with Vintage embossing folder then distressed with ground espresso.
3. I then matted and layered the Kraftyhands topper onto purple card.
4. Added lace and pearl trim before adhering the topper.
5. To finish off I added the pearl floral flourish and sentiment.

GDT at Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered Fuchsia pearlescent card.
2. I wrapped heart organza ribbon around before adhering to base card. 
3. I then cut out silver pearlescent card with SB Oval die.
4. The image was printed onto supersmooth, coloured with Copics, cut out with SB scalloped oval die then distressed with distress ink.
5. To finish off I added the clear gem corners and the butterfly.

A Cracking Christmas

Had a lovely day yesterday in my craft room, got some cards made and today having to do DT work.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 green square scalloped card.
2. First layer is chequered stocking card from my stash which has had the corners punched with X-cut corner punch.
3. I matted and layered the cute topper onto a doily with foam pads for dimension.
4. I added the sentiment and green gems to finish off.

Little Mermaid Evie

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Saturday again and a new canvas to share with you.

A nice relaxing weekend planned with some crafting thrown in I think.

What are you all up too?


Step by Step

1. I first stencilled bubbles onto the base of the canvas with modelling paste then added an assortment of blue and green acrylic paint.
2. I stamped the seaweed and fishes onto tissue paper and glued to the canvas.
3 I printed off Evie a Saturated Canary image and coloured with my Copics, I then fussy cut out and adhered to canvas.
4. I added sea shells, a small bottle filled with gold glitter and a string of pearls to the base.
5. To finish off I added the fish, sea snail, starfish and flourish which have been painted with gold and then highlighted the edge of the canvas with Inka Gold.

Good Luck Wishes

YAY it's Friday I hope you have all had a good week.

Today my card is made using the Hunkydory Flight of the Butterflies card kit.
I very rarely see card kits that I like but fell in love with this kit, real lovely vintage colours.


The card was made using the pieces from the kit and I have created the Parchment Trail card.

On the parchment the butterflies are gorgeous and I have cut around 3 of them to give dimension.

From my stash I have added green pearl gems and the ribbon.

Art Deco Christmas

Yes, I know another Christmas card to share but Christmas is getting ever closer and they are all I seem to be making these days.

Step by Step

1. DL white card.
2. Using card from my stash I cut to size and wrapped gold ribbon around before adhering to the card.
3. The topper I added foam pads for dimension.
4. I added the pearl corners for decoration and finished off with the sentiment.

No Place Like Home

Wednesday already, where is the time going?

A card to share with you today using some of the new stencils and stamps by Sheena Douglass.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered embossed brown card.
2. The topper I have created by first distressing with squeezed lemonade and fossilised amber, I then stamped the image with ground espresso.  I then used a couple of stencils and stencilled around the image.
3. I then stamped the sentiment "Home is where the heart is"
4. To finish off I added the metal flower with a black gem in the centre and the key.

Heartfelt Thanks

What are your plans for today?

I have a rather busy day ahead of me today!

Before I share my card for today I am sharing photos of my goodies from the NEC on Saturday.

I had the most wonderful time meeting my friend from Dubai Swati, then having a catch up with Hels and Pauline, Paul Church, Jo from Tonic, Dawny, Sue and Harvey, and lots of my blogging friends too.





Hoping to get to play with these new goodies at the weekend!

A card made using the new Hunkydory Flight of the Butterflies card kit.


I created this card using the pre-cut and pre-scored tri-fold spinner card.
Using the toppers I added them to the spinner part and the centre of the middle card.
To finish off I added the pearl gems and the sentiment.

GDT Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Sharing my second GDT for Outlawz Greeting Challenge.

The theme this week is "keep me in stitches" either faux or real sewing.

I have used A Day for Daisies - Image Vintage Poppy Cluster


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. The red and green layers I have sewn around using my sewing machine
3. I added gold mirri card between the red and green card.
4. The vintage poppies have been printed onto supersmooth and coloured with Copic and Spica pens.
5. To finish off I wrote "Lest we Forget" onto red card with white gel pen.

So many Weeds...

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy Sunday to you all, what are you doing today?
Off to see my granddaughters today.

I had a wonderful time yesterday at the NEC, met a few of my crafting buddies and got lots of lovely goodies too.

How many of you like gardening? I am not a lover of gardening per se as when I go out and help hubby in the garden I always end up being hurt so that is his domain! LOL!

A gardening card to share with you today.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white square scalloped card.
2. First layer is dark green card.
3. The topper has been created by painting Aquatints in 3 different colours the stamping the shed and the wheelbarrow, Memento ink then colouring them in with DI ground espresso and DI pens.
4. I then stencilled the foilage around the images with DI then matted and layered onto the green card.
5. To finish off I stamped the sentiment, added the butterfly and pearl gems around the 4 corners.
