All aboard...

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy Bank Holiday weekend to you all!
I can't believe this is the last day of April! The weather is atrocious here so got housework to do and then I think I will hibernate the rest of the weekend in my craft room!

Not sure what we will end up doing this weekend, but the weather which is just typical isn't conducive to a walk around the garden centre which is what I suspect hubby would love to do.

A card today for a little boy who loves trains.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 deckle edged square Kraft card
2. First layer is gold embossed card.
3. The stripped paper I found in my craft box and adhered at angles after distressing with aged mahogany.
4. The topper I distressed with stormy sky Distress Ink and adhered to card.
5. To finish off I added the compass and sentiment.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

A Conundrum!!!

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A question for you all!
What do you do when your mojo goes on holiday?

In all the time I have been crafting I can honestly say that this is the first time I am seriously struggling to craft!  I have spent the last 4 days sitting at my craft desk, start a couple of things that have ended up in the bin!

Do you get frustrated?
I am so frustrated it is driving me bananas (it doesn't take much) LOL!
I have a couple of ideas on projects I want to do but once I start it just doesn't gel, I walk away have a cuppa and come back, look at it and see a complete travesty of a creation so in the bin it goes.

Solution - Maybe

I have now decided to just walk away for a couple of days and take a complete break.
Hubby and I are taking a couple of day away to visit the Isle of Man and I am hoping a change of scenery will reignite my enthusiasm for crafting.

I am going to take my camera and sketch pad with me hoping to get some inspiration.

Do you have any tips for re-igniting your mojo?
Please share!

Many thanks for you support!
